The emphasis is on fun in the water. Parent and children participate in guided sessions where children learn elementary skills, including entering the water, blowing bubbles, front kicking, back floating, underwater exploration and much much more.
For children from 24 months to 42 months.
The emphasis is again on fun in the water. In addition to the skills detailed above children will learn how to control their breathing and get back to the pool edge and hold onto the poolside. Learning how to turn around in the water, changing body position in the water and how to float are essential water safety skills, in addition to being the basis of learning how to swim. Children participate in guided sessions (Parent participation is optional) where they gain confidence and comfort and develop these basic skills.
Perhaps the biggest difference we offer, however, is
individual attention to each child's specific needs. A swim program
with SWIMMERS consists of blocks of 30 minute lessons. Our long
experience has taught us that 30 minutes is the ideal lesson time. Any
longer and the child gets tired and losses concentration, any shorter
and very little will be achieved in each lesson.
