Let’s face it. We are all envious of people who take to swimming like a dolphin takes to the water. Jane Roberts, owner and operator of the SWIMMERS company, is such a person.

Jane first trained as a swimming instructor when she was 17 years old and has been involved in the aquatic industry since then, teaching at a variety of leisure pools and later specialist residential swim schools.

Jane first set up the SWIMMERS Company in the United Kingdom in 1996. Jane knew, from her many years’ experience as a swimming instructor, that there were lots of people in the world who did not feel as she did about water, but wanted the opportunity to feel comfortable and happy around this beautiful environment. She believed that many nervous children and adults were left out of the scope of ‘regular swimming lessons’.

This very special and unique swim school caters for pupils - infants, children and adults - who want the best available instruction, on a 1-2-1 basis, in a completely private environment with no large groups or spectators. SWIMMERS Instructors are in the water with their pupil the whole time – where they are needed the most!
